Children in this age group are generally more confident, outgoing and are used to the kindergarten environment.
Though children in this group can read and write basic words, our main task remains practising conversational skills. Children are encouraged to speak as much as possible using their built-up vocabulary and participate in small performances for the younger children as well as parents.
In this group, our teachers introduce children to exercises in developing memory, attention and logic. Children of this age spend more time learning new words.
Enough time is set aside for games, rhythmic exercises and training of fine motor skills.
Our English and Russian programs are well integrated and coordinated, meaning that children learn a new theme only after it has been presented in their native language.
Preparation for school requires a lot of time; we set aside enough time for this purpose. Yoga lessons help children relax and gain strength. The second half of the day is devoted to creative activities, music and sports.
